This entry is dedicated to 100Zaban, Hadji, and all my other hungry friends!
So you want to know how it’s done? It’s really very easy and complicated both at the same time!
Let’s start with the ingredients we need which I think we all can easily find if we look a little bit closer around us, Okay mavaade laazem:
1-A little bit of time, maybe a little bit more…
2-A brain (you have that right? I am sure you do yours is probably even creative, all brains are, just look a bit closer inside your head)
3-Lots of honesty and freedom and originality in saying what you feel inside and bringing it into words…
4-keyboards, computers, pencils, paper, crayons, colors, markers, fingers,… ANYTHING which can bring your thoughts out of your body and make it possible to share it with us… (type kardaan va neveshtan ham ke khodetoon baladin)
5-a big bunch of honest and attentive friends who are there to help you on your way… (man ke kollli daram masalaan haminja, in gooshe, hamin baghaal) I am sure I couldn't have done it without you
6-You have got to put away all ta’arofs and unnecessary shyness!
7-You just have to listen to your heart, you have to listen carefully and let it pour itself out naturally through your tongue and fingers and on the monitor, and yes 100Zaban and Hadji it is actually like the flow of a river, beautiful, elegant, and powerful! (but no I am not the river Karoon)
That’s all I can think of for now but I’ll post again if I find anything new.
Oh I forgot this: every time I have an idea, or something exciting is going on in my brain I write it straight down on whatever I can find and there is usually many sharpened pencils and lots of paper lying around my room. I also always keep a daily account of the things I do and the things that happen to me through the day, hatta shode yek khat man bayad har rooz benevisam hatta raje’be sade tarin ettefaghaat. And while I am spending my day outside I OBSERVE not only see, I take notice of simple things around me things that I may pass everyday but never really pay attention to and I write about them… These work like a kind of exercise for my feelings my fingers and my thoughts; I think it’s really helpful
Psssst! I have a secret to tell you which can really help so listen carefully:when I want to write to you I imagine you sitting right here in front of me then I start talking to you just the same way as we do when we are together , just as honest just as easy just as simple as when we are talking about our normal daily life just like when you talk to your mom about the things you’ve done in school or… the only difference is you type it. You might have to organize your writings after you’ve let them swim out of your brain on to paper… I think you have got the idea. And don't forget you are never alone because God is always there to help you even when no one else is. Good luck!
